I purchased this product because a reviewer said it fits in a standard binder and the dimensions were 9 5/8 by 10 inches. That was incorrect. I have standard Office Depot binders (classic three ring and D-ring) and it hangs out about 1.5 inches. The correct dimensions are 10 2/8 square.
It does have non-scratch black backing, but it is very thin.
This was not what I expected and I am not satisfied.

this product does not fit in the "Find it" binder!! so perhaps may not work with other binders!?!?? something to look into before you purchase!

Did not melt when exposed to a hair drier so secondary protection may not be necessary..

This one fits perfectly in a standard binder. Sheet dimensions are 9.5/8" wide by 10" tall. Inner cloth protects CDs from scratches. Binder storage on the shelf works better for me than CD boxes.
